Cultural Center at Clemente Park Design Services (Lee County Black History Society (LCBHS) Cultural Center)

The City of Fort Myers (City) requests submittals from interested and qualified Respondents for design and engineering services to partner in shaping a new Cultural Center at Roberto Clemente Park. This project will be an anchor intended to celebrate culture, creativity, and community. This solicitation seeks a multidisciplinary architectural and engineering team capable of translating community needs into an inspiring and enduring civic facility. The City is committed to a thoughtful design process that balances innovation, functionality, and regulatory excellence, and looks to collaborate with firms that bring both technical and creative leadership to the table. The proposed Cultural Center will serve as a flexible, multi-purpose destination for performances, exhibitions, meetings, and community gatherings, while supporting administrative operations and long-term stewardship of cultural assets. Envisioned as a two-story facility with an accessible rooftop, the project integrates interior and exterior design, resilient building systems, and site improvements that enhance accessibility, connectivity, and public use within Roberto Clemente Park.
