Substance Use Recovery Fitness and Wellness Services

Washington County Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division, Addictions Program, seeks to identify a provider to deliver recovery-oriented physical fitness, wellness, and mentoring services by people with lived experience with a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) through a Recovery Gymnasium (Recovery Gym) model for adults living with SUD who are Washington County residents. Services funded through this solicitation will support improved recovery outcomes by addressing physical health, recovery capital, and social determinants of health through evidence-based, trauma-informed peer mentorship integrated with structured fitness and wellness programming. The County intends to contract with a single provider for these services in an amount not to exceed $216,000.
