(1) Vendor needs to provide legislative consulting and government relations services to the government authority located in Colorado.• Identify state legislation and legislative proposals that may impact the county.• Identify proposed state regulatory changes that may impact the county.• Work with the board of county commissioners and the administrator’s office to develop positions on relevant legislation, as appropriate.• Provide assistance to board of county commissioners and the administrator’s office in arranging lobbying visits to help ensure productive meetings.• Draft written communication with the county regarding initiatives involving local, state and federal agencies, and other organizations on a wide range of topics, as necessary.• Lobby for the county’s position on legislation and regulatory matters of interest, including direct contact with legislators, staff, state agencies, local governments, associations, and interest groups.• Draft letters, testimony, amendments, position statements, and talking points on legislation as necessary.• Testify on behalf of the county at hearings before legislative and interim legislative committees.(2) A pre–bid site–visit will be held on July 09, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than July 10, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
