Invitation for Bids: Generator Replacements for Various FEMS Engine Houses Project

The District of Columbia (the “District”) Department of General Services (the “Department” or “DGS”), is issuing this Invitation for Bids (“IFB” or “Solicitation”) to engage a highly qualified design-build contractor (the “Contractor”) to develop any and all necessary Permit Drawings and Cost to provide the Furnish & Installation of a Generator system and Automatic Transfer Switch (“ATS”) system (the “Project”) in accordance with this IFB, including, but not limited to, Section C of this IFB, Existing Generators Survey (Attachments A), the DGS Standard Contract Provisions for Construction Contracts and the Standard Contract Provisions for Architectural and Engineering Services Contracts (Attachment D), and other associated attachments of this IFB. The Contractor’s architect/engineer (“Architect/Engineer” or “A/E”) should be a firm licensed to perform work in the District.
