Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and will not be returned. PurposeThe purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining whether this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set–Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a corresponding size standard of $34M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.The Government is interested in all small business categories to include 8(a), Service–Disabled Veteran–Owned, HUBZone, and Women–Owned small business concerns. Interested parties are requested to identify their small business status relative to the identified NAICS code, any anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and commercial customers within the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.2. Program DetailsAFLCMC/WAMJ, F–16 System Program Office, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Section, Hill AFB, UT is seeking information about potential sources interested in and capable of performing Phase II (Resolution) of the AN/APG–68(V)9 Radar Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) program.The AN/APG–68(V)9 radar system is a critical component of the F–16 fighting platform. A Phase I (Analysis) DMSMS study, completed in July 2024, identified multiple Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) within the highest–priority Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) that are at high risk of becoming unserviceable and unrepairable due to component obsolescence. This effort initiates Phase II (Resolution) as part of a three–phase program to mitigate these risks. Successful completion of Phase II is a prerequisite for Phase III (Manufacture).This effort will be executed via a Task Order (TO) under the AN/APG–66/68 Post Production Sustainment (PPS) Contract.
