MRB-56039 - USA (Virginia) - Nonprofit Strategic Planning Consultant Service - Deadline September 30,2026

Vendor needs to provide nonprofit strategic planning consultant service. – Guide and execute a strategic direction and in–person planning process with members of Board of Directors, Senior Staff, and other stakeholders to inform and produce a strategic plan to guide Organization for the next three to five years.- Preliminary research on Organization, including reviewing relevant background material, recent membership surveys, and conducting focus groups with targeted Organization stakeholders (Members, board members, staff.)- Assess Organization’s needs and assets.- Availability to facilitate an on–site, one–day strategic planning session at the Organization Fall Board Meeting.- Development of homework assignments to collect information that does not need to be collected face–to–face for leadership to complete prior to the in–person meeting to facilitate a more efficient planning session.- Development of a 3–5 year written Strategic Plan to include objectives, goals, and action steps.- Draft to be submitted to the Executive Director for dissemination to the Organization Board of Directors for final discussion, modifications, and approval.- Ongoing guidance and advice to the Executive Director in developing the Business Plan.- Identify outcomes to be achieved through the process, or individual aspects of the process.- Define strategies, software/technology, and partners necessary to achieve outcomes, if prudent, necessary, or beneficial to both parties.
