Vendor needs to provide Black Rascal Creek Flood Control Project Construction Services to the government authority located in Merced, CA.– Advancing nine cone penetrometer test soundings along the proposed embankment dam alignment.– Excavating 10 test pits within a proposed borrow of the proposed basin that will be the source of the embankment materials.– Reviewing available subsurface exploration data from non–urban levee evaluations performed for the black rascal diversion channel study area.– Performing laboratory testing on selected soil samples from the potential borrow area to evaluate engineering properties of subsurface materials that will be used to construct the proposed embankments, and from beneath the embankment to evaluate embankment foundation soil properties.
