(1) Vendor needs to provide architect services to the government authority located in Farmington, UT. 1. General Architectural Services - Building Design: Provide design services for new building construction, modifications, remodels, and additions. - Design Criteria Development: Research and establish detailed space requirements and functional relations to develop definitive architectural design programs. - Schematic Design: Prepare schematic drawings, general project descriptions, and construction material proposals to illustrate design solutions. - Design Development: Fix technical design essentials, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape details. - Construction Administration: Serve as the agent to oversee construction progress, quality of work, field administration, submittal review, requests for information, and compliance with construction documents. 2. Planning and Technical Studies - Site Analysis: Provide comprehensive site analysis services, including site design, site studies, topography, zoning, code requirements, permitting, easements, and environmental restrictions. - Studies and Planning: Perform feasibility studies and master planning. - Short–term and Long–term Planning: Develop site development programs compatible with short and long–term County goals and future site enhancements. 3. Additional Support Services - Project Management Support: Prepare detailed work schedules and maintain project logs. Assist the County in communication with other public and private entities. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with the, international energy conservation codes, local zoning requirements, and any other applicable regulations as necessary. - Efficiency Standards: Incorporate guidance for energy and water conservation in materials selection and structural orientation.
