(1) Vendor needs to provide professional engineering and construction administration services to the government authority located in Birmingham, AL. • Provide A/E services and construction administration services for the Rental Car Ready Area Improvements project.• Develop a comprehensive design for the rental Car Ready Area Improvements.• Evaluate alternatives for common use versus tenant specific infrastructure and operational improvements.• Develop cost estimates, phasing plans, and construction documents for implementation.• Support Birmingham Airport Authority in defining Airport responsibilities associated with the project.• Minimize impacts to parking, rental car operations, airport customers, and pedestrian circulation during construction• Vehicle circulation analysis• Ready area operational layout• Pedestrian circulation and safety• Assist with contractor procurement.
