(1) Vendor needs to provide geographic information systems (GIS) consulting services to the government authority located in Abingdon, VA. – Provide vision for the development and maintenance of our spatial data systems. – The consultant will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of short–term, intermediate, and long–term projects and goals.– A firm to become involved in the ongoing development and evolution of the county GIS.– Consultation services will include agency development and troubleshooting. (2) The contract period will be for three years.
