NET-17281 - USA (Salt Lake, Utah) - Dark Fiber and Right of Use Service - Deadline October 13,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide dark fiber and right of use service to the government authority located in Salt Lake, UT.• Dark Fiber/IRU Maintenance. Operations and Maintenance Practices: Agency will require ongoing operations and maintenance of the fiber for the term of the agreement. • Routine maintenance and inspection,• Scheduled maintenance windows and scheduling practices for planned outages,• Fiber monitoring including information on what fiber management software is used, what fiber monitoring system is used, and who performs the monitoring,• Handling of unscheduled outages and customer problem reports restoration,• Repair of fiber breaks,• Replacement of damaged fiber,– Dark Fiber/IRU Maintenance SLA. Respondents must include the following: • Commitment to proactively monitor fiber 24 hours a day by 7 days a week by 365 days a year• In case of an outage or service–impacting incident, commitment to inform fiber lessee of any fiber outage or cut within 30 minutes of the occurrence • In case of an outage or service–impacting incident, commitment to present the lessee with a plan for service restoration or improvement within one hour of occurrence • In case of outage or service–impacting incident a mean time to repair of 4 hours • Provide an escalation list with a qualifications summary of each person on the escalation list • Provision of a 24 hours a day by 7 days a week by 365 days a year phone number in case the lessee is the first to discover an outage or service–impacting incident(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2026.
