(1) Vendor needs to provide charter buses services including safe, reliable, and compliant transportation services for District–sponsored activities, including but not limited to field trips, athletic events, extracurricular activities, academic competitions, fine arts performances, and other District–authorized travel to the government authority located in Spartanburg, SC.– Local, regional, and long–distance charter transportation within state and, when required, interstate travel– Day trips and multi–day overnight trips– Transportation for athletic teams, fine arts groups, academic teams, and general student body field trips– Transportation for District staff professional development events and conferences– Special event transportation as authorized by the District– Vendors must confirm trip assignments in writing no later than 10 days prior and provide the assigned vehicle information and driver name no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled trip date– Drivers must adhere to all District campus rules and regulations when on District property, including check–in procedures and designated loading/unloading zones
