City of Adairsville Water Plant Backwash Pump

The Project includes all material, labor, and related appurtenances for the purchase and installation of a 75Hp Backwash Pump at the existing Water Plant for use as an additional Water Plant Backwash Pump, providing redundancy at the facility. The Work also includes building a concrete pad for the pump and motor (with appropriate anchoring/dowelling to the existing concrete floor); the provision, install, and coordination of associated piping, fittings, and valves to connect to the existing Backwash System; addition of a check valve on existing backwash line; electrical wiring from the motor to the control panel (conduit pipe already in place); start up and testing of the system after installation; training for system use; all material, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for a complete, working, additional Backwash Pump at the Water Plant. SCADA system integration will be coordinated by Owner with their existing system integrator and paid for through the Allowance Item.
