(1) Vendor needs to provide traffic engineering and transportation planning services to the government authority located in Long Beach, CA.1. Traffic and civil engineering:– Conduct traffic and civil surveys and collect associated data as needed.– Investigate and research transit, motor vehicle, bicycle, pedestrian, and micro– mobility characteristics and behaviors.– Evaluate capacity levels on surface roads and highways and make recommendations for adding or removing vehicle lanes.– Prepare concept plans, engineering designs, reports, and studies related to traffic calming devices.2. Traffic signals/traffic control devices:– Conduct warrant analysis/studies for the deployment of traffic control devices.– Prepare traffic signal, street lighting, striping, and signing plans, including corresponding specifications and estimates.– Design, analyze and maintain various communications systems and control elements, including fiber–optic design and data management.3. Transportation planning and project management:– Prepare plans, studies, policies, standards, and guidelines for active transportation, micro–mobility, and placemaking.– Prepare physical and electronic materials for active transportation, micro– mobility, and traffic safety education and engagement.– Provide project management/construction management services for design, construction management, and oversight of infrastructure improvements.4. Studies/reporting/outreach/program delivery:– Develop and conduct public outreach activities, including public presentations, open houses, town halls, focus groups, pop–ups, surveys, programs, and special events.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 30, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
