CLOTHING-1232 - USA (Bedford, Massachusetts) - Clothing Containers and Collection Services - Deadline October 7,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide clothing containers and collection services to the government authority located in Bedford, MA.1. Bin/Container Standards – Contractor must provide weather–resistant, secure, anti–theft and tamper–proof collection containers for each location. – Containers must prominently display a description or graphics showing acceptable materials (clothing, footwear, linens) and vendor contact information.– Contractor will provide repair or replacement of damaged containers within one calendar week (7 calendar days) of request for repair. – Contractor will place a minimum of two collection containers at each school location and a minimum of one container at the Bedford Recycling Center. Additional containers will be placed, as needed and at the discretion of the Town, to manage any increases in collection volume. – Contractor will remove containers within one calendar week (7 calendar days) of the contract end date, except in cases where a contract has been renewed or extended. 2. Collection Frequency– Contractor must empty all containers at a minimum once per week, or more frequently if the container reaches 80% capacity to prevent overflow. – Contractor agrees to increase the number of containers at any given location, if the Town determines additional containers are necessary to prevent overflow. 3. Site Maintenance – Contractor is solely responsible for keeping the area within a 15–foot radius of each container clear, free of litter, dumped debris, or overflow textiles. 4. Reporting– Contractor must provide a weight slip or other accounting of material collected, broken down by bin location, with each payment, at a minimum. A monthly digital report (spreadsheet) is strongly preferred. – Contractor must also periodically provide weight data to the Town, by request, to assist with compliance reporting. (2) The contract period will be for two year.
