Turnover data, exit interviews, and difficulty-to-fill metrics indicate that current compensation levels for these classifications may lag private-sector healthcare wages, while broader classifications remain governed by the state’s general pay plan. A compensation analysis that reconciles both frameworks is necessary to support evidence-based decision-making on pay adjustments, budget requests, and classification changes. The agency seeks the professional services to support a comprehensive compensation analysis to determine the agency's position relative to the public sector governed by the State Personnel Board and private healthcare entities in direct competition for the same professionals.
