External Independent Auditing Services - Rebid

The City of New Smyrna Beach (herein after, “City”) is soliciting the services of qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements, and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) financial statements. Services shall begin with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and continue for Contract Length . By mutual agreement and funding availability, the contract may be renewed for Optional Extensions Time Frame . These audits shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act of 1996, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of State, Local Governments, and Nonprofits, and the Rules of the Auditor General of the State of Florida, as amended from time to time. If an award is recommended it shall be made to the best overall proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this document. If awarded, a contract to provide these services shall be effective on the date that the contract is approved by the City of New Smyrna Beach, City Commission (herein after, the “Commission”), signed by all required parties and filed with the City Clerk. The successful proposer will hereinafter be referred to as the "Consultant".
