LEGAL-17338 - USA (Rowlett, Texas) - Municipal Prosecutorial Services - Deadline July 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide municipal prosecutorial services to engage an experienced legal professional with demonstrated expertise in municipal criminal prosecution, municipal court procedures criminal law and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement laws and regulations to the government authority located in Rowlett, TX.1. Prosecute class c misdemeanor offenses filed in the municipal court.2. Attend all scheduled municipal court sessions, including arraignments, pre–trials, bench trials, jury trials, and special settings.3. Prepare and review complaints for legal sufficiency4. Prepare and negotiate plea agreements.5. Conduct discovery consistent with law.6. Coordinate with the city marshal, police department, animal services, code enforcement, fire department, and other city departments as needed.7. Advise municipal court personnel on prosecutorial matters8. Review proposed municipal ordinances and recommend enforcement strategies when requested.9. Assist with warrant–related matters.10. Represent the city in appeals arising from municipal court proceedings.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 22, 2026.(3) A contract term will be for one year.
