(1) Vendor needs to provide community resiliency initiative services to the government authority located in Astoria, NY.– Initiative is to enhance community resilience by supporting community–determined activities that address projects promoting energy and environmental sustainability, reducing vulnerability to climate change and providing energy workforce training.– Promote workforce development and job creation in the clean energy and sustainability fields, and associated planning efforts to increase local economic resilience.– Advance planning, preparedness, and capacity building efforts that address climate and community vulnerability.– Implement initiatives that reduce energy burden, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, or other energy‑related programs or services.– Support community preparedness and broader climate resilience activities responsive to locally identified needs.– Prioritize projects that improve energy affordability, create job opportunities, and support positive community health outcomes.(2) A pre–bid informational session will be held on September 15, 2026.
