(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services and related legislative services to the government authority located in Santa Fe, NM.– Providing research, consultation or legal services to the director or the director's designee on legislative, legal, constitutional, ethical or employment issues.– Providing review and feedback of draft legislation on a variety of policy issues, including water law, elections, redistricting and campaign finance, including conducting related research, as needed.– Corresponding with drafting staff regarding legislation reviewed and researched.– Providing other consultation and support services for legal matters as requested by the director.– Assisting with investigations or hearings, including preparation of written memoranda and other related materials.(2) The contract period will be for four years.
