(1) Vendor needs to provide Secure Exchange Data Software.    – This web–based respiratory medical clearance and evaluation program will provide a rapid cost–effective method to perform respiratory medical clearances, and a convenient method to evaluate geographically diverse Federal employees.– The service shall support electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions and interactive Telnet application protocol sessions.– Provide routine technical support to implement corrections to services that occur as a result of errors, flaws, or other failures within their service.– The service shall enable to exchange data utilizing a secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) as approved.– Verify Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payer eligibility in real–time and in batches.– Unlimited direct data entry (DDE) online Medicare claims status and corrections.– Web–based respirator medical questionnaire and evaluation clearance program tool.     – Eligibility results must include start and end dates of coverage.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
