Nuisance Abatement Services

The City of Moreno Valley desires the services of a qualified professional contractor to provide timely abatement of general public nuisances, including emergency abatements, at specified locations on both public and private property on a City-wide basis at the direction of the City. Contractor must provide all abatement which may include, but not be limited to the demolition, removal, repair, maintenance, construction, reconstruction, replacement, or reconditioning of structures, appliances or equipment, installation of temporary chain link fencing, boarding up of windows, doors or other openings; or the pumping of stagnant water from pools; or the removal, transportation, disposal and treatment of waste and abandoned materials, trash, debris, and any equipment capable of harboring, breeding, or attracting rodents or insects or producing odors or blight including the removal of overgrown weeds and/or vegetation. All work must be done per these specifications, according to all applicable and acceptable industry standards, of the highest quality workmanship commensurate with the required work, and completed by the time required. Contractor must provide at its own expense, all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to safely and effectively perform nuisance abatement services in accordance with accepted industry standards.
