Fire Suppression Maintenance and Repair

The purpose of this bid is to provide a three-year contract for maintenance and repair services of water-based fire suppression protection equipment at six (6) facilities/systems (Easterly, Southerly, Westerly, Environmental and Maintenance Service Center (EMSC), Administration Building (GJM) and limited locations within the Collections System throughout the Sewer District. The Contractor shall perform on-call, repair services for any devices, parts or panels of the wet suppression fire protection systems and chemical suppression. All work under this contract shall be completed in accordance with the current Ohio Fire Code, applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations, using properly calibrated instruments . All work under this contract shall be performed by properly licensed and trained technicians. Proof of each technician’s state license(s) shall be provided to the Sewer District prior to work being performed. P rices must include parts, labor, delivery charges, permit fees, license fees, fuel surcharges, travel and any or all other costs related to performing the required scope of work. This includes any specialty equipment that may be necessary to reach difficult to access locations (e.g., sensors located under floor panels or detectors located 30 feet above walking surfaces ). Ant icipated or potential use of subcontractors must be disclosed on company letterhead as an attachment. A ny equipment damaged during inspection, testing, maintenance, or repair shall be replaced with the same or equivalent equipment at the cost of the contractor. Annual t esting and inspections of the fire suppression systems are handled under a different contract . The deadline for submission of questions shall be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
