DRA-11302 - USA (Sacramento, California) - Radiocarbon Analysis Service - Deadline August 18,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide radiocarbon analysis service to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA. – To provide 14C analysis of two hundred and fourteen (214) samples (mostly plant fragments) from sediment acquired in cores and other paleoseismic sites.– These results will be used to assess and refine the ages of coastal and lacustrine stratigraphy, both subaqueous and subaerial. – Age models will use the 14C results to build reconstructions of sea level over the past several thousand years and will improve age constraints and correlation of event deposits along active continental margins that are critical to developing a more robust earthquake history.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 14, 2026.(3) The contract period will be three years.
