Hauling & Recycling of Waste Tires, CS

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified contractor for the transportation and recycling of waste tires collected by the Leon County Solid Waste Management Division. Leon County prefers that vendor recycle the tires or find some beneficial use for the tires as recycled materials. Use as a Fuel may constitute recycling. Therefore the final disposition of the tires needs to be articulated as part of your bid. The tires to be transported and recycled will be whole automobile, light truck, commercial truck tires and some oversized tires. Rims will be included with each load. Leon County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful bidder for any tire/wheel recycling/disposal related issues not specifically outlined in this proposal. All qualified contractors must included FDEP Waste Tire Hauling permits with bid submission.
