LEGAL-17702 - USA (Collin, Texas) - Municipal Court Judge Service - Deadline September 21,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide Municipal Court Judge Service to the government authority located in Collin, TX.• The Municipal Court Judge shall perform the duties of that office as provided by applicable Texas law, City Charter, City ordinances, and other applicable requirements.• Duties of Municipal Court Judge– The appointed Municipal Court Judge shall be responsible for the following:(1) Presiding over jury trials, bench trials, and plea hearings.(2) Administering oaths and affirmations, including oaths to jurors and to persons filing complaints with the court.(3) Granting continuances in cases where sufficient cause is shown that a case should be postponed.(4) Ruling on motions for new trials.(5) Entering the proceedings of each trial in the judge's docket.(6) Assessing punishment for contempt of court charges.(7) Conducting driver's license suspension hearings under the Safety Responsibility Act.– The contract period will be for one year.– All the questions must be submitted no later than September 10, 2026.
