(1) Vendor needs to provide interim finance director and financial management consulting services to the government authority located in Cerritos, CA. • Responsibility of the interim finance director will be to assist the district in advancing and completing the outstanding audits.• Coordinating with the district’s independent auditor; gathering, organizing, reviewing, and preparing financial records, schedules, reconciliations, and other requested documentation; responding to auditor inquiries and information requests• Providing day–to–day leadership and oversight of the District’s financial operations.• Overseeing accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, general ledger activities, cash management, and financial reporting.• Assisting with annual audit activities, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and other required financial reporting.• Assisting District management in maintaining continuity of financial operations during the transition period.
