DISPOS-9556 - USA (Portland, Maine) - Waste Management Services - Deadline August 26,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide waste management services to the government authority located in Portland, ME.– The Contractor shall collect and legally dispose of all designated waste (Lot 1) or recyclables (Lot 2) deposited in designated collection areas, dumpsters, barrels, or curbside locations across all properties– Waste Management & Disposal– Collection Methods: Waste must be removed by means of hydraulic compactor, automated side–load compactor, front–load containers, or designated curbside collection equipment appropriate for each property location.– Household Waste: Applies to physical pickup of bags, barrels, or any household waste deposited on common areas of the Agency’s properties, either at curbside or at designated collection areas.– Recycling Services– Collection & Processing: The Contractor shall collect, transport, and process single–stream or designated recyclable materials from all applicable service sites.– Contamination & Education: Proposers under Lot #2 should outline their approach to managing minor container contamination and any educational resources or feedback mechanisms provided to help residents improve recycling compliance.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026.(4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on August 11, 2026.
