(1) Vendor needs to provide grants consultant service to the government authority located in Passaic, NJ. – The successful candidate must have significant experience in securing grants for a municipality from federal, state, and other funding sources.– Informing the city of current and anticipated funding programs in which it is eligible to participate.– Meet with city officials to ascertain local funding priorities, and conduct follow–up research on all current funding opportunities.– Determine the city’s eligibility for funding programs, and inform the city of each program’s competitiveness, current funding levels, local benefits, and responsibilities.– Recommend involvement in all appropriate funding programs under which the city may be eligible.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
