Vendor needs to provide adaptive physical education services to the government authority located in Albuquerque, NM.• To provide Adaptive Physical Education (APE) services for students.• APE teachers have experience and knowledge to serve as an active member on the team for students, served yet not on the caseload and develop and maintain all in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines.• Evaluate student performance by performing diagnostic testing necessary in preparing for annual reviews and eligibility of service.• APE teachers will monitor student progress in mainstreamed general physical education classes and assist in establishing physical education class performance in the least restrictive environment as Mandated.• APE teachers will work with train paraprofessionals as assigned and collaborating with general physical education teachers for the benefit of students with APE.• APE teachers should have technical knowledge to maintain communication with teachers, other school personnel, and parents/guardians to enhance cooperative action which will meet the educational needs of students.• APE teachers have been trained as federal employees to compile data for statistical purposes while maintaining confidentiality regarding educational records.
