(1) Vendor needs to provide workforce management solution. – Cloud based Solution [Software as a Service (SaaS)], shall be able to support access for:A. iOS and Android devices, including cell phones.B. Laptops can connect through secure virtual private network (VPN) and public cellular data options, such as mobile hotspots for employees in the field.C. Standard in–office computers.– The solution must be accessible from and function optimally on desktop/laptop computers as well as mobile devices (iOS/Android)used by King County Agencies (mobile phones, etc.).– The solution must use Open Authorization (OAuth) for authorizing access to resources without sharing credentials (e.g. APIs, mobile apps)– All agency assets, including data, must remain within the geographic boundaries governed by the United States.– The solution must utilize intrusion and anomaly detection techniques.– The solution provider must utilize an industry recognized secure development lifecycle process with third party validation of the security program, controls, and vulnerability management practices.– The scheduling system must display employees that have signed up for a backfill position eligibility priority to enable their supervisors to assign an employee to the position.– The system must observe and apply eligibility and priority based on seniority and labor union contract rules for vacation time scheduling.(2) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 23, 2026.
