Description
The Albert Whitted Water Reclamation Facility (AWWRF) was decommissioned in 2015, and the structures comprising the facility currently remain intact. Following the decommission, the City of St. Petersburg (City) constructed Lift Station 85 (LS85) to redirect influent flows to the City’s Southwest Water Reclamation Facility. This project consists of the demolition of the remaining plant facilities, the construction of new wet weather storage/equalization tanks, and the construction of a new administrative building. The new administrative building will be used as a base of operations during storm events.
