Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Professional Services

EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY

Description

East Carolina University (ECU) is seeking proposals from qualified firms, agencies, and independent professionals to submit proposals to provide Fractional Chief Marketing Officer ("Fractional CMO") services. ECU seeks an experienced senior marketing executive with relevant public higher education experience and deep knowledge of commercial go-to-market strategy to provide executive leadership, assessment of marketing operations, strategy development, hands-on execution, implementation management, and performance accountability. The engagement will advance ECU's enrollment marketing, enterprise marketing strategy, market differentiation, analytics, governance, technology utilization, and return on marketing investment. The selected Contractor will serve as ECU's Fractional CMO and function as an embedded senior marketing leader for approximately twenty (20) hours per week during the six-month engagement. ECU is not seeking a traditional consultant whose role is limited to assessment, advice, or delivery of reports. The Fractional CMO will be expected to lead priorities, direct agreed-upon implementation activities, coordinate internal and external partners, optimize available resources, establish accountability, and deliver measurable progress in collaboration with University personnel.
