Hiring of Database Administrator — Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Assignment Title: Selection of Individual Consultant for the position of Database Administrator Credit No.: IDA / 7229-PK The Government of Sindh (herein after called Borrower) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the Bank) in the form of a credit (hereinafter called credit) towards the cost of strengthening social protection system in Sindh . The Project Director, Project Management & Implementation Unit, Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh and it is intended to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for payments to the following “Individual Consultant Services” to be procured under this project. The consulting services for the following position to be procured on Contract basis are as follows: Name of Position Qualification Experience Database Administrator (No. 01) At least a Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. • At least four (04) years’ experience of working as Database Administrator in large software projects, in government organizations, preferably related to social welfare/poverty alleviation. • Proven database programming experience with PL SQL (1+ year), SQL / Optimization, Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL (large scale Systems) • Experience in applications software analysis, design, and development Skills: Should have strong background in systems design and implementation.
