Vendor needs to provide education interpreter services to provide remote continuing education courses related to court interpreting, language interpretation, translation, and court proceedings.• The offeror shall develop new courses and provide existing instructor–led or assessed courses focused on interpretation and translation skills and court–related subject matter.• The agency prefers language–specific skill building courses for the following languages:• Amharic.• Arabic.• Korean.• Spanish.• Vietnamese.• The agency prefers offerors to provide existing courses and develop new courses covering, but not limited to, the following subject topics:• Interpreting skills.• Consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation skills.• General, legal, court–related, medical vocabulary building.• Note–taking skills.• Enhancing memory skills.• Accent reduction and voice projection.• Correct pronunciation.• Court interpreter certification exam preparation.• Legal interpretation.• Advanced English language skills intended to improve English proficiency for court interpreting assignments.
