CLEAN OIL/WATER SEPARATOR TANKS AND GRIT CHAMBERS

The Town of Manchester is soliciting bids for contractual services required to clean and dispose of grit, oil and water from five oil/water separator tanks. They are located at the Town’s Vehicle Wash Facility (two), at the Fleet Garage (two), and at the Police Garage (one). Optional work will be to clean and dispose of grit and water in the Town’s vehicle wash facility grit chambers. Types of equipment using the wash facility and garage include but are not limited to dump trucks, vac-all trucks, heavy equipment such as dozers and landfill compactors, leaf machines, snow removal equipment and light duty vehicles. Selected Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to complete the work as required. All bidders must be licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Environmental Protection for this type of work and must provide a copy of the license with bid submittal.
