Electric Meters with Factory-Installed Tantalus Communication Modules

The purpose of this solicitation is to outline the requirements and technical specifications for the procurement and delivery of Itron electric meters equipped with Tantalus communication modules and necessary software. The City of Gallup is standardizing its metering infrastructure and will not accept substitutes for the Tantalus equipment. These units will be purchased for the replenishing of City of Gallup warehouse stock inventory to support current and future deployment needs. This is an indefinite quantity contract from which the City may place orders on an as needed basis. Quantities listed on pricing proposal are estimates of the City's needs; actual usage may vary. The City does not guarantee the purchase of any specific minimum quantities. This procurement is intended to establish contract pricing for up to four (4) years.
