ROOF REPLACEMENT RP FUNDING CENTER-ARENA

In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and appliances necessary for the proper completion of the work as required in the Specifications, in accordance with good roofing practice, and as required by the materials manufacturer, as amended. The work under this Section generally includes the following: 1. Remove and dispose of existing roofing systems and components, including membrane, insulation, base sheets, flexible and metal flashings, and associated materials and components down to the existing steel deck unless otherwise noted. 2. Install new thermoplastic single-ply roofing membrane and flashing system, and associated roof system components, including insulation as indicated on the drawings. 3. Remove and replace primary roof drains. Re-connect to existing leader piping. 4. Remove and replace secondary (overflow) roof drains. Provide new horizontal leader piping below the roof deck to service new secondary (overflow) roof drains and route through exterior walls as indicated on the drawings. 5. Remove the existing overflow thru-wall scuppers and infill the wall opening as indicated. Install cover plate on exterior face of wall panels at abandoned scupper locations. 6. Remove and replace rooftop equipment curbs. Disconnect and reconnect existing mechanical/electrical components to restore proper operation to rooftop equipment, and to facilitate new roof curb and flashing heights. 7. Remove and replace roof access hatch. 8. Remove and re-install the lightning protection system as indicated.
