City of Oakland
Description
Candice Shanks, 510.238.7565, cshanks@oaklandca.gov The City of Oakland Public Works Department, Parks & Trees Division (“City”) is seeking qualified vendors to build and place storage containers at Parks facilities. The storage containers are essential to supporting the organization’s maintenance operations by providing a secure and centralized location for staff tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and operational gear critical to daily services and employee safety. These containers help ensure that equipment remains organized, accessible, and protected from environmental damage and unauthorized access. Additionally, due to the increasing frequency of burglaries and vandalism in the area, the trailers provide a secure solution for safeguarding valuable equipment and materials, reducing the risk of loss, operational delays, and replacement costs. Proposers must demonstrate the capacity, staffing, and equipment necessary to perform services in accordance with seasonal and operational requirements. Currently OPW is looking to place containers at Lake Merrit – Lakeside – 666 Bellevue, Oakland, CA 94610. The City intends to award an approximately two (2) year contract, for an amount not to exceed $50,000. No minimum amount is guaranteed under the agreement. Award will be made to a single vendor based on the lowest, most responsive, and responsible bid. The City of Oakland invites your firm to submit a bid to fully provide the goods and or services described herein. This Request for Quotation and any subsequent contract award will be in strict accordance with the documents identified below: (Offeror should check and be sure that they have received all documents and should follow the instructions contained within this RFQ when preparing their bid.
