Prenatal and Postpartum Cessation Program Project Overview The goal of this project is to expand the availability of cessation treatment services among Mississippi women to reduce nicotine dependency within the prenatal and postpartum phases of pregnancy. PROMOTE QUITTING AMONG ADULTS Strategy 1: Promoting Health System Change, to support screening and treatment of tobacco use and treatment of tobacco use and dependence. Strategy 2: Increase engagement with healthcare providers and health systems to expand the delivery of evidence-based cessation treatment, including referrals to the state Quitline.
