(1) Vendor needs to provide website modernization and portal development services.• Project Objectives– Modernize Aesthetics: Create a visually engaging, responsive (mobile–first), and professional design reflecting marine science and conservation.– Dual–Tier Membership Portal: Build a seamless onboarding, renewal, and directory system for local and foreign members.– Dynamic Conference Hub: Create an adaptable event module to manage our biennial scientific symposia (registration, ticketing, and abstract guidelines) without needing to build new mini–sites every two years.– Intuitive Content Management: Ensure the agency secretariat can easily update research news, board directories, and announcements without technical expertise• Module A: Core Website & Public Interface– Modern, high–speed UI/UX design featuring rich multimedia sections (galleries, scientific publications, announcements).– Search Engine Optimization (SEO) setup and accessibility compliance.– Resource center/repository for marine science materials, job openings, and research links.Module B: Automated Membership Management System– User Registration & Profiles: Separate, customized workflows for local members (including student, regular, and institutional tiers) and international members.– Automated Renewals: System–generated email reminders for annual or multi–year membership expirations.• Module C: Biennial Conference Hub– Reusable Event Template: An administrative tool to spin up a new conference landing page (e.g., PAMS18, PAMS19) every two years under the main domain.– Ticketing & Registration: Tiered ticket pricing (Early Bird, Regular, Student, Member vs. Non–Member, Foreign vs. Local).• Security, Hosting, & Training– SSL certification setup, data encryption, and strict compliance– Migration of existing relevant data from the old platform to the new system.– Handover training sessions and complete system documentation for the agency administrative staff.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
