(1) Vendor needs to provide media relations assistant services.– Contractor shall devise and execute a strategy to effectively use radio, television, print and social media to educate the community.– Develop and maintain a complete district–level media relations program that promotes the litigative programs of the agency. – Plans, write and edits news releases on agency cases, achievements and results, to include indictments, change of pleas, convictions and sentencings.– Plans, scripts and coordinates press conferences on agency priority programs, training, and community outreach efforts.– Plans, scripts and coordinates press conferences on agency cases, achievements and results, to include indictments, change of pleas, convictions and sentencing.– Drafts and places op–ed and other articles approved by the United States Attorney designed to educate the public on agency programs, goals, objectives and achievements.– Identifies and facilitates appearance and speaking opportunities for agency personnel to raise awareness of agency programs, mission, goals, objectives and achievements.– Prepares written materials and press packets to facilitate use of media to deliver messaging desired by agency.– Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the media strategy in achieving greater understanding of the agency's mission, goals, objectives and achievements.– Digests agency media exposure on a weekly basis.(2) This bid is set–aside for total small business.
