(1) Vendor needs to provide weapons detection and video intelligence system.– Video intelligence and weapons detection platform capable of leveraging the district's existing IP security camera infrastructure.– Provide artificial intelligence–based detection of visible or partially visible firearms, knives, and other potential weapons.– Provide near–real–time alerts when a potential weapon or other configured safety event is detected.– Provide the ability to continuously track a person of concern across multiple camera views after an initial detection, including after a detected weapon is no longer visible.– Support configurable notification and escalation workflows, including mobile, SMS, email, and other real–time notification methods.– Include human verification of critical AI–generated alerts through a continuously staffed security operations center or equivalent service prior to escalation whenever practical.– Provide the capability to share timely incident information and location intelligence with designated district personnel and, when configured by the district, emergency responders.– Provide a broader video intelligence platform capable of using the same camera infrastructure to detect and alert on additional safety events, including:• Automated or assisted emergency escalation, including integration with emergency notification or 911 workflows.• Loitering or unauthorized presence in designated locations.• Theft, vandalism, or other configurable behavioral anomalies.• Incident management tools that allow authorized personnel to quickly locate, review, preserve, and share relevant video.(2) The contract period will be for five years.
