– Vendor needs to provide state lobbying and consulting services to the government authority located in Eugene, OR. – Provide lobbyist and consulting services for 2027 state legislative session.– Advocate to secure passage of budget and policy bills supported by the university that advance its public mission, access, affordability, student success, and institutional governance.– Includes advocacy on the public university support fund, capital funding requests, funding for financial aid, and state legislative policy priorities– Assist in the drafting of legislative language and amendments.– Engage in regular communication and meetings with legislators and their staff members as well as legislative counsel, fiscal, and revenue offices on behalf of the university.– Schedule meetings with legislative offices and state agencies and participate in those meetings, providing support to the university as needed or requested by the university.– Provide reports, memos, and workplans as requested on issues of interest or concern to the university.
