(1) Vendor needs to provide vacant property tax hearing services to the government authority located in Oakland, CA. – Provide impartial hearing services related to contested vacant property tax assessments. – Provide timely and professional case review and administrative hearing services; conduct factual determinations based on submitted materials and testimony; and review, analyze, and weigh evidence to render decisions on contested vacant property tax assessments.– Administrative hearing essential functions.– Hear cases, via telephonic conference and in–person, presented by property owners, taxpayers and legal representatives, as well as city staff, relating to vacant property tax assessments.– Perform, in a timely and professional manner, the duties and responsibilities of a hearing officer, which include making factual determinations, assessing witness credibility, evaluating evidence and rendering decisions regarding contested vacant property tax assessments.– Conduct any additional research or investigation necessary to fully and properly adjudicate any issues not resolved on the day of the administrative hearing.(2) The contract period will be for three years. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 13, 2026.
