Description
(1) Vendor needs to provide family investment program (MFIP) employment services to the government authority located in Rochester, MN.– Activity Engagement: Employment Service Providers will strive to accept participants’ referrals into the program within four business days after receiving a Workforce One (WF1) referral and have participants engaged in activities leading to employment immediately thereafter.– Livable Wage / Education: Employment Service Providers will provide resources, remove barriers, and provide education and training, including financial empowerment to improve the employment skills and long–term financial stability of the program participants. Participants should progress and attain positions that pay livable wages and provide health care coverage.– Job Retention: Employment Service Providers will cultivate job retention and career–advancement opportunities via follow–up activities, to increase the potential that participants retain or advance in their positions– The County MFIP program goals are for agencies to: 1. Increase the number of participants working or in an education or training program. 2. Increase the number of participant hours in work, education, or training toward DHS requirements per month. 3. Increase the number of participants leaving MFIP due to an increase in earned income. 4. Increase participation in education and skilled certification opportunities. 5. Provide effective career guidance services; and 6. Provide effective MFIP employment services within MFIP guidelines.– Development of employment plans including incremental steps–to–employment goal setting. – Job search includes access to resource rooms, additional resources, trainings, and tool building (resumes, online applications, establishing an on–line presence, social media strategies, etc.).– Career planning and coaching (compatible with MFIP job search, education, and training activities) including: a) Engagement of all participants into those processes, supports, and specific activities that are aimed at identifying, seeking, and achieving jobs and career goals. b) Assessment (strength, interest, values, etc.). c) Assisting and exploring educational and vocational choices, connecting participants to career pathway programs(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 26, 2026.
