Clear Creek Road, Killeen, Texas 76549. Pre-Bid Conference attendance is optional for bidders on this project. Each bidder shall be limited to three personnel per organization. The project includes, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation of Terminal Apron which includes but is not limited to, PCC joint sealant removal and replacement, full and partial PCC panel repair, installation of pavement underdrain, removal and application of pavement markings. See proposal for more information on bid schedules including base bid and additive alternates work. Pre-Bid questions will be accepted on the OpenGov e-bidding site. Questions will be accepted until 12:00 P.M. (Local Time), Friday, January 20, 2023. Question will be answered in the form of an Addendum and posted on the OpenGov website. It is the bidder’s responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all Addendums. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided by the City and accompanied by a bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s maximum Bid price, payable, without recourse, to the City of Killeen. The security may be in the form of a certified cashier’s check or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company approved to do business in the State of Texas, as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a 100 percent performance bond and 100 percent payment bond and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) business days after notice of award of contract to him. Bids not accompanied by cashier’s check or bid bond will not be considered. Bidders must be licensed to perform work within the state of Texas.
