Description
UCalgary requires specialized scientific software development and technical consulting services to support the refinement, debugging, application, and extension of the Structure for Unifying Multiple Modeling Alternatives (SUMMA) model. SUMMA is a complex, research-grade hydrological modelling framework with an active development history and specialized architecture. The work requires direct knowledge of the SUMMA code base, numerical solvers, physical process representations, and cold-region hydrological modelling. UCalgary intends to award a service agreement to Ashley Van Beusekom for this work. The services are expected to be performed by Ashley Van Beusekom due to her direct SUMMA development experience and specialized knowledge of the model architecture, development history, design decisions, and technical limitations.
