(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise resource planning system selection services.1. General ledger and financial management:– Improve reporting and financial analysis capabilities, reduce reliance on custom reports and spreadsheets, automate journal processes where appropriate, increase visibility into financial activity, and strengthen controls through flexible user and role security settings.2. Procurement and contract management:– Streamline procurement activities, improve vendor self–service capabilities, enhance contract tracking and compliance monitoring, reduce manual purchase order administration, and improve management of multi–year commitments.3. Revenue:– The city will keep for revenue processes. Therefore, bidders should explain how they will integrate with this system and enable increased capabilities for data analysis in this area.4. Human resources:– Establish a true HR system of record, automate personnel actions, improve employee record management, streamline benefits administration, and reduce dependence on paper–based processes.5. Budgeting and planning:– Improve personnel budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, budget amendment processing, budget book preparation, and access to budgeting information across departments.6. Recruitment, learning and performance:– Provide modern applicant tracking, onboarding, training management, certification tracking, and performance evaluation capabilities while improving employee engagement and accountability.7. Employee self–service:– Allow employees to manage personal information, benefits, leave requests, payroll information, training activities, and other employment–related transactions electronically.8.
