(1) Vendor needs to provide professional engineering and associated services to the government authority located in Colorado.1. Coordination requirements:– Coordination may be required with utility companies where the proposed scope of work modifications will impact existing overhead or underground facilities.2. Planning and pre–construction services:– Review of project plans for best practices, coordination and constructability.– Review of project specifications for best practices, coordination and constructability.– Develop and review contractor’s schedule and sequencing plans.– Develop and review contractor’s cost estimate and assist with cost control.– Assist with value engineering if bids exceed budget.3. Bidding process:– Assist in bidding and award of contracts.– Pre–bid conferences with the prospective bidders, if necessary. Attend and assist the town in the review of the proposed construction activity, traffic control, special construction features or problems and review of the construction documents and requirements.– Check all bid submittals for accuracy and prepare a recommendation for the project manager.4. Construction administration:– Conduct the pre–construction conference as scheduled by the town’s project manager.– Hold periodic progress meetings with the contractor to maintain the project schedule.– Review and approve all materials and shop drawing submittals for conformance with the town.– Perform all field coordination between the contractor, the town’s project manager and all expected utilities, agencies and property owners. The consultant may also be required to coordinate with the geotechnical consultant who will be directly under contract with the town.– Provide construction inspection and material testing to observe the progress and quality of work and prepare daily field logs and reports of construction activities.(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 15, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
